In this component mounting device, the head held by a head holder can be automatically switched either from a vacuum head to which vacuum nozzles (13) that can hold and release components are attached to a dispensing head to which a dispensing nozzle that can dispense an adhesive from a dispensing opening is attached or vice versa. When the head holder is holding the vacuum head, a nozzle camera acquires vacuum-nozzle image data by using an optics unit (80) to capture a side image of vacuum nozzles (13) attached to the vacuum head at certain nozzle positions (13a through 13c). When the head holder is holding the dispensing head, the nozzle camera acquires dispensing-nozzle image data by using the optics unit (80) to capture a side image of the dispensing nozzle, which is located on the central axis of the head holder. A component-related inspection is performed on the basis of the vacuum-nozzle image data, and a dispensing-related inspection is performed on the basis of the dispensing-nozzle image data. |
