<p>The present application relates to the technical field of communications, discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting and obtaining information, an application server, a base station and a terminal, so as to solve the technical problem in the prior art that when group communications data is transmitted by using an MBMS mode, the time delay that a new joining terminal obtains the group communications data is long. The method for transmitting information specifically comprises: an application server of a group communications service receiving a request message that is sent by a terminal and requesting joining a group; and the application server of the group communications service sending, according to the request message, multicast control information to the terminal through a serving node of the application server or the terminal, or the application server of the group communications service sending, to the terminal, instruction information comprising identification information of an MBMS bearer, the instruction information being used for instructing the terminal to obtain multicast control information corresponding to the identification information, and the multicast control information being used for making the terminal obtain group communications data.</p> |
