PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular implant and a related kit and method.SOLUTION: A device, a method, and a kit for reducing an intraocular pressure are described. The device includes a support implantable in the Schlemm canal, the support being capable of repairing or keeping at least partial patency of the Schlemm canal substantially without disturbing flow of fluid crossing the wall of or through the Schlemm canal. The device utilizes a natural drainage process of eyes and implantable with minimum injury to eyes. The kit may include the support and an introducer for implanting the support into the Schlemm canal. The method may include a process to implant the support into the Schlemm canal, where the support can repair or keep at least partial patency of the Schlemm canal substantially without disturbing flow of fluid crossing the wall of or through the Schlemm canal. |
