1. A method of identifying a mutation in a gene associated with meningioma in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising the steps of:
a. obtaining a test sample from the subject, wherein the test sample comprises a nucleic acid comprising at least one gene, or fragment thereof, associated with meningioma; b. determining the sequence of the nucleic acid comprising the at least one gene, or fragment thereof, associated with meningioma in the test sample; c. comparing the sequence of the nucleic acid comprising the at least one gene, or fragment thereof, associated with meningioma in the test sample with the sequence of at least one mutation of a gene associated with meningioma, wherein when the sequence of the nucleic acid comprising the at least one gene, or fragment thereof, associated with meningioma in the test sample is homologous to the sequence of the at least one mutation of the gene associated with meningioma, the mutation in the gene associated with meningioma in the subject is identified. |
