The present invention provides a novel imidazole compound having excellent storage stability and good curability even when used as a one pack-type curing agent, and useful as an easy-to-handle curing agent. This imidazole compound is shown by general formula (I). [In the formula, R1 and R2 are each independently an alkyl group having 4-20 carbon atoms, R3-R5 are each independently any one atom or group selected from the group comprising a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-17 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6-17 carbon atoms, and a heteroaryl group having 3-15 carbon atoms containing at least one hetero atom. However, compounds in which R1 and R2 are both butyl groups and R3-R5 are all hydrogen atoms are excluded.] |
