The present invention relates to a packing string cutting device comprising: a supply box accommodating a packing string wound around a bobbin in the shape of a roll, having a hanging bar for guiding the packing string in the shape of putting the packing string installed on an upper part to penetrate horizontally, and having a guiding groove for withdrawing the packing string forward; a rail member having hollow vertical rail parts arranged on both sides of the front surface of the supply box, wherein a long groove is formed at one side of the vertical rail parts and a venthole is formed on a front surface connecting the vertical rail parts to pass the packing string; a push block guided along the vertical rail parts to be able to move vertically, including a cutter blade for cutting the packing string at the side of a lower part, and including, at the lower part of a lengthwise side surface, a support pin guided vertically along the long groove of the vertical rail part; a cover member installed and attached to one side of the vertical rail part having the long groove formed thereon, having a fixing pin, which corresponds to the support pin, formed to penetrate an upper part; and a tensile spring having both ends connected to the fixing pin of the cover member and the support pin of the push block to grant elasticity to the push block. The present invention enables another user or a user for the next time to withdraw the packing string easily as the packing string withdrawn by a certain length from the venthole at the front side of the rail member is cut by making the cutter blade pull the packing string downward during cutting of the packing string using the push block, and the packing string is always kept withdrawn by a constant length from the venthole by the rise of the push block. Accordingly, the present invention realizes safe packing operation as the packing string is cut as the cutter blade is shielded by a protective cover at the front side of the push block. |
