A fragrance dispenser comprises a ceramic shell 12 containing a gel composition 14. Preferably the ceramic shell 12 is cylindrical and is made of greenware. In one embodiment the ceramic shell 12 is impregnated with a fragrance composition and the gel composition 14 contains a second fragrance composition different to the one contained in the ceramic shell 12 and which is released over a different time period. Preferably the ceramic shell 12 has indentations 24 on an exterior surface to aid the retention of the ceramic shell 12 in a dispenser housing (52) by interacting with a mounting clip (26) having a plurality of flexible arms to engage with the indentations 24. |
