PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of simplifying processing necessary for a host electronic control device to execute for appropriately recognizing a turn-cancel, and of supporting detection of the turn-cancel at an opportune timing on a vehicle of various types while eliminating discomfort of a driver.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a steering angle detection part 10; a first cancel-pulse generation part 21 for generating a first cancel-pulse when a detected steering angle becomes a steering angle to be detected as an edge representing an end of a vehicle turn; a second cancel-pulse generation part 22 for generating a second cancel-pulse representing a rotation direction of steering on the basis of the detected steering angle; signal output terminals 41, 42; and a steering angular acceleration detection part 25 for correcting a pulse generation timing in accordance with a steering angular acceleration. Thus the configuration of a special cancel-pulse generation apparatus integral with a steering angle sensor makes it possible to simplify the processing of a host device. |
