<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring method and monitoring apparatus in which, even in the case where a monitoring range is set to extend to a long distance, an object within the monitoring range can be detected accurately. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring apparatus comprises a flood section 11 for flooding with laser light, a vertical scanner 12 which performs scanning with laser light in a vertical direction, a horizontal scanner 13 which performs scanning with laser light in a horizontal direction, a light receiving section 14 which receives reflection light of laser light and transmits light reception information d4, a distance calculation section 15 which calculates a distance of an object from the light reception information d4, and a control section 16 which controls the flood section 11, the vertical scanner 12 and the horizontal scanner 13. A monitoring range S is set with a top dead point or a bottom dead point of the horizontal scanner 13 as a reference, and a scanning speed of the vertical scanner 12 is set higher than that of the horizontal scanner 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
