<p>According to the invention, the problem of finding a novel possibility for measuring rail profiles in laid track systems, using repeated travel back and forth to achieve reproducible rail profile measurements, is solved by a measurement head (3, 4), for measuring a cross-sectional profile along a rail path, having a guide profile (31, 41) that is in the form of an L-shaped profiled rail and can be pressed, in a defined manner, to the rail top side (22) and rail inner side (23) of the rail head (21), as well as a measurement head housing (35) which is rigidly coupled to the guide profile (31, 41) and in which at least one measuring probe (36; 37, 38) is adjustably arranged, two measurement head frames (14) moving said measurement heads (3, 4) transversely to the rail (2) by means of horizontal linear drives (17, 521, 522) and moving the guide profiles (31, 41) with respect to the rail top side (22) of the rail head (21) by means of two vertical linear drives (34).</p> |
