System for the automatic loading and unloading of trucks and containers

The system is provided to carry out in an automatic way and without the intervention of human operators, the loading and unloading of platforms (6) into/from the internal part of the loading compartment (7) of the truck, being based in locating a transshipment system with sliding capacity on the ground, being guided by a guidance rail (2) to be able to locate the transshipment system in any of the loading bays of the concerned industrial installation, thus permitting to carry out the loading/unloading of any truck located in any of the loading bays of the installation. Said transshipment system comprises a frame (1) bound to a longitudinal carriage (4) which has a system of transverse wheels and supports which are hydraulically extendable to permit lifting said carriage, permitting its sideways movement. The longitudinal carriage is provided with a triple fork positioning device (8) to pick up the platforms (6) and introducing them into the loading compartment of the truck (7).
