<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution control server, method, and program which enables a plurality of user terminals to acquire content from the content server at the same time within a processing capacity of the content server, without requiring new resources such as additional function software or hardware and the like for the user terminals. <P>SOLUTION: A content distribution control server 10 performs steps of: calculating an acquisition execution number of terminals; determining user terminals 20 of the calculated acquisition execution number of terminals; transmitting a content acquisition start instruction to the determined user terminals 20; receiving a content acquisition completion notification from the user terminals 20 which completed acquisition of the content; managing an acquisition progress state of the user terminals 20 and calculating the acquisition execution number of terminals so that the number of the user terminals 20 which receive the content acquisition completion notification within a prescribed time period becomes maximum, on the basis of the acquisition progress state; and transmitting the content acquisition start instruction to the user terminals 20 of the calculated acquisition execution number of terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
