摘要 A liquid ejecting apparatus including: a plurality of pressure chambers communicating with a plurality of nozzles respectively; and a plurality of liquid ejecting heads having a common liquid chamber configured to supply liquid common to the plurality of pressure chambers, wherein each of the liquid ejecting heads includes a liquid supply channel communicating with the common liquid chamber and supplying liquid from the liquid storage tank toward the common liquid chamber by the liquid feeding unit and a liquid discharge channel communicating with the common liquid chamber and discharging the liquid from the communicating chamber toward the liquid storage tank by the liquid feeding unit, and the directions of flows of the liquid in the common liquid chamber flowing from the liquid supply channels through the common liquid chamber toward the liquid discharge channels are opposite from each other between the adjacent liquid ejecting heads.

A liquid ejecting apparatus comprising: a plurality of pressure chambers communicating with a plurality of nozzles which constitute a nozzle row; a plurality of liquid ejecting heads having a common liquid chamber configured to supply liquid common to the plurality of pressure chambers disposed in the nozzle row direction; a liquid storage tank configured to store liquid therein; and a liquid feeding unit configured to feed liquid from the liquid storage tank toward the liquid ejecting heads, wherein each of the liquid ejecting heads is in fluid communication with: a main liquid supply channel communicating with the common liquid chamber and configured to supply liquid from the liquid storage tank toward the common liquid chamber by the liquid feeding unit; anda main liquid discharge channel communicating with the common liquid chamber and configured to discharge the liquid from the common liquid chamber toward the liquid storage tank by the liquid feeding unit, wherein the main liquid discharge channel is separate from the main liquid supply channel; wherein the plurality of liquid ejecting heads comprises a first liquid ejecting head and a second liquid ejecting head adjacent the first liquid ejecting head; wherein the first liquid ejecting head is in fluid communication with: a first liquid supply channel communicating with the main liquid supply channel, anda first liquid discharge channel communicating with the main liquid discharge channel;wherein the second liquid ejecting head is in fluid communication with: a second liquid supply channel communicating with the main liquid supply channel, wherein the second liquid supply channel is separate from the first liquid supply channel, anda second liquid discharge channel communicating with the main liquid discharge channel, wherein the second liquid discharge channel is separate from the first liquid discharge channel;wherein the liquid supply channels are configured in one of the two following ways: the first liquid supply channel is disposed near a first end of the first liquid ejecting head adjacent the second liquid ejecting head, the first liquid discharge channel is disposed near a second end of the first liquid ejecting head distal from the second liquid ejecting head, the second liquid supply channel is disposed near a first end of the second liquid ejecting head adjacent the first end of the first liquid ejecting head, and the second liquid discharge channel is disposed near a second end of the second liquid ejecting head distal from the first liquid ejecting head, such that the first and second liquid supply channels are adjacent one another and the first and second liquid discharge channels are distal of the first and second liquid supply channels; orthe first liquid discharge channel is disposed near the first end of the first liquid ejecting head, the first liquid supply channel is disposed near the second end of the first liquid ejecting head, the second liquid discharge channel is disposed near the first end of the second liquid ejecting head, and the second liquid supply channel is disposed near the second end of the second liquid ejecting head, such that the first and second liquid discharge channels are adjacent one another and the first and second liquid supply channels are distal of the first and second liquid discharge channels.
