The present invention provides a fail-over switch for failure of bi-directional packet transmission for serial communication. The fail-over switch includes: a memory which divides packet data, transmitted and received among multiple communication devices for bi-directional communication, by a predetermined data unit and stores the divided packet data; and a control unit which receives trigger signals for whether the packet data is received from the memory, prioritizes, and transmits the packet data to another communication device. |
