<p>A process for the removal of impurities from fatty materials comprising the steps of providing a fatty material that may already have undergone some purification treatment, adding an aqueous suspension of liquid adsorbent to the fatty material and causing it to form a mixture with the fatty material, optionally adding some water to the mixture, and forming an aqueous phase separate from the fatty material and removing the aqueous phase from the fatty material.</p> |
