PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver that can eliminate the need for high skill when assembling the optical transceiver.SOLUTION: An optical transceiver comprises: an element housing part that houses an optical semiconductor element performing at least any of transmission of an optical signal and reception thereof; an optical sub-assembly 10 that has a substantially cylindrical sleeve 12c juxtaposed in an optical axis L direction of the optical signal with respect to the element housing part; and a housing 2 that houses the optical sub-assembly 10. The sleeve 12c comprises a flange part and a flat surface 12f formed in a side surface of the sleeve 12c, and the housing 2 comprises: a slit into which the flange part is inserted when the optical sub-assembly 10 is housed in the housing 2; and a flat surface 22b facing the flat surface 12f when the flange part is inserted into the slit and the optical sub-assembly 10 is housed in the housing 2. |
