PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum pump capable of improving the strength of a lid member including an internal space for achieving silence effect.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment of the invention, in an electric vacuum pump 18, an upper lid 150 includes: a silencer part 153 which is an internal space of the upper lid 150 and communicates with an air discharge port 127 in a pump part 120; a suction port 172 for suctioning the air; and a cylindrical part 174 which is formed ranging from a periphery of the suction port 172 to the pump part 120 side. The pump part 120 includes: a suction port 126 for suctioning air suctioned by the suction port 172 into the pump chamber 123; and a cylindrical part 176 which is formed ranging from the suction port 126 to the upper lid 150 side. The cylindrical part 176 is fitted in the cylindrical part 174. |
