PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a fuel consumption amount during power supply to an external appliance of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes: and engine, a first motor-generator for generating power using power of the engine; a power storage device for storing power generated by the first motor-generator; a connection part for supplying an external appliance of the vehicle with power stored in the power storage device; and an ECU for starting the engine when an SOC of the power storage device reaches a given start threshold. The ECU sets a start threshold ON2 in the state where the vehicle cannot travel and in a period when the connection part supplies the external appliance of the vehicle with power, lower than a start threshold ON1 in the state where the vehicle can travel. |
