<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain heating performance or quality of an image heating device, to achieve energy-saving, even if heat transfer performance of the image heating device varies depending on manufacturing variation of components.SOLUTION: An image heating device includes: measurement means (CPU 30) which is at least one of means for measuring film-part heat transfer performance Pf which is heat transfer performance from a heater 11 to a surface of a fixing film 13, and means for measuring nip-part heat transfer performance Pr which is heat transfer performance from the surface of the fixing film 13 to a pressure roller 20 in a nip part N; determination means (CPU 30) which determines a target value of fixing temperature from a result measured by the at least one of the measurement means; and storage means 33 which stores set data of the target value determined by the determination means.</p> |
