摘要 Embodiments of the present invention provide a power usage state information transmission method and apparatus. The transmission method for transmitting power usage state information according to the present invention includes: determining, by a terminal device, a power headroom PH of a second cell corresponding to the terminal device; and sending, by the terminal device to the first network device, the PH and channel configuration information corresponding to the PH. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the first network device can readily acquire, according to the PH and the channel configuration information, a power usage state of the second cell corresponding to the terminal device. In this way, transmit power of UE between different network devices can be properly allocated, and therefore, system resources are properly used.

A power usage state information transmission method, comprising: communicating with a first network device and a second network device by a terminal device, wherein the first network device is a network device that controls a first cell and the second network device is a network device that controls a second cell; when channel transmission exists in a subframe of the second cell, determining, by the terminal device based on channel configuration information configured by a signaling, a power headroom (PH) of the second cell corresponding to the terminal device, wherein the PH corresponds to the subframe of the second cell and the PH is determined by the formula: PH={tilde over (P)}CMAX,c(i)−{PO_PUSCH,c(1)+αc(1)PLc+fc(i)} [dB], wherein c is the second cell, i is the index of a subframe of the second cell, {tilde over (P)}CMAX,c(i) is maximum transmit power of the UE on a given assumption in the subframe i of the second cell, PO_PUSCH,c(1) is an open-loop power control adjustment value, αc(1) is a partial path loss compensation value, PLc is a path loss of the second cell obtained through measurement by the terminal device, fc(i) is a closed-loop power control adjustment value; sending, by the terminal device, the PH to the first network device, and skipping sending {tilde over (P)}CMAX,c(i) to the first network device.
