PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength-swept light source which allows for stabilized laser oscillation even if wavelength sweeping is performed at high speed.SOLUTION: A wavelength-swept light source 1 includes a gain medium 102, a diffraction grating 104 for receiving light from one end of the gain medium 102 and selecting the wavelength, and an optical deflector 103 arranged on the optical path of a resonator connecting the gain medium 102 and the diffraction grating 104 optically. Design parameters of the wavelength-swept light source 1 are preset so that the wavelength selected by the diffraction grating 104 when the optical path is swept in the optical deflector 103, and the longitudinal mode wavelength of the resonator make transition synchronously. |
