The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, which contains a natural fullerene, and a method for manufacturing same. The present invention provides a cosmetic composition containing a natural fullerene, which is extracted from a shungite mineral. In addition, the present invention comprises: a process of preparing a natural fullerene; and a process of mixing the natural fullerene with a base of a cosmetic composition. The process of preparing a natural fullerene comprises: a first step of pulverizing a shungite mineral containing a carbon component; a second step of extracting and separating a carbon component from the pulverized shungite mineral; and a third step of heat-treating the separated carbon component at a temperature of 850 to 3,000°C in a boron atmosphere. According to the present invention, a natural fullerene is extracted from a shungite mineral with a high extraction rate, with a less ash component, and with a hollow structure (porosity) to the maximum extent possible. Accordingly, the present invention has strong anti-oxidant and bactericidal properties and simultaneously, is capable of reducing an activity of active oxygen and melanin, and has the effects of anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, atopic treatment and prevention and wound healing as well as a high productivity and an economic efficiency. |
