The present invention provides a composition for forming a conductive thin film comprising a metal-containing silane-based compound of chemical formula 1. The composition according to the present invention exhibits improved surface resistance, high visible light transmittance, and low turbidity, and thus a conductive thin film having excellent electrical and optical properties and transparency can be formed from the composition.
