The present invention relates to a method for predicting an economic genetic trait in commercial chickens using an iNOS gene of the chickens, and a SNP marker and a primer set associated therewith. More specifically, provided is a method to detect a commercial chicken with an excellent economic genetic trait in an early stage, by having the transcription promoted by signals transmitted from various factors, searching SNP of the iNOS gene confirmed to control immune reaction by producing nitric oxide (NO) in the immune system, selecting the SNP confirmed to have a direct connection with an economic genetic trait among the searched SNPs, and developing the same as a SNP marker for predicting the economic genetic trait in chickens. The use of SNP marker of the present invention provides an effect on predicting the weight of the commercial chicken on 270th day.
