<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute work for transferring a work gripped by a transfer device such as a robot from one hand to the other hand by making the work engaged with a hanger hook of an overhead conveyor, to automate a series of the work, and to improve work efficiency.SOLUTION: A work transfer device transfers a work W by suspending it by transferring the work W to a hanger H so as to make the work W gripped by a transfer device T engaged with a hook F which is suspended to a traveling body CH of an overhead conveyor so as to be oscillatory in a fore-and-aft direction. The work transfer device comprises a hook support member S which can support the hook F so that the hook F is positioned in a prescribed standby position FA which can be engaged with the work W in a state that the movement of the hanger H for transferring the work is temporarily stopped. The hook support member S is attached to an attachment base B so as to be reciprocal between a hook support position S1 in which the support member hangs out to a transfer trace of the hook F, and abuts on the hook F in the prescribed standby position FA, and a retreat position S2 which retreats to the outside of the transfer trace.</p> |
