Provided are a current supply device and an operating method thereof. The current supply device comprises: a first transistor connected to a first current source; a second transistor connected between the first transistor and load; a capacitor connected to the first transistor; and third and fourth transistors which are connected to the capacitor, Wherein one of the third and fourth transistors is turned on by switch control; an operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) which outputs first current by comparing drain voltage of the second transistor with source voltage; a current comparator which receives the first current outputted from the OTA and produces a control signal by comparing the first current with reference current; and a voltage controlled current source (VCCS) which is connected between the current comparator and the third transistor and receives the control signal from the current comparator. The VCCS controls the size of second current provided from a second current source by using the control signal and provides the second current to the third transistor. The present invention reduces production costs by simplifying and optimizing a circuit and reduces power consumption of the whole chip. |
