<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve installation method for a gas pipe in which a valve can be installed between a socket and a plug engaged in thread with the gas pipe installed at a narrow location while gas leakage is restricted by a relatively simple device and work.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for installing an openable and closable valve 5 between a socket 2 engaged in thread with a gas pipe 1 and a plug 3 engaged in thread with the socket 2 that is operated in such a way that after a cooperative rotation of the socket 2 is prevented and the plug 3 is loosened by a rotating operative tool, a no-blow bag 8 is applied to cover the plug 3 and the socket 2, a coated portion of screw seal agent coated on a male threaded part 5a of the valve 5 is covered by a seal agent cover 12 and stored in the no-blow bag 8, the plug 3 in the no-blow bag 8 is artificially removed, then the male thread part 5a of the valve 5 is artificially applied to the socket 2 and engaged with it in thread and it is temporarily fastened, the no-blow bag 8 is removed, and the valve 5 and the plug 3 are finally fastened with the rotating operating tool.</p> |
