FIELD: physics, atomic power.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection of alpha-radiation and can be used to measure energy of alpha particles in the nuclear industry. The spectrometric pulsed ionisation chamber includes a gas-filling unit in the form of a system of electromagnetic pneumatic valves connected to enable connection of the internal gas volume of the pulsed ionisation chamber alternately to a gas mixture source, a vacuum pump, an excess pressure release line or complete shut-off of the gas volume; a sealed housing filled with a gas mixture and having inside it an anode surrounded by a guard ring, an electrode, referred to as a grid, a fixed cathode having a groove through which plates, which are holders of the measured sample, enter the sensitive volume; a rotary disc fitted with the plates, rotary and hoisting devices which allow arrangement in the sensitive volume of the spectrometric ionisation chamber and subsequent retrieval of the measured samples, placed on the plates, without violating air-tightness of the ionisation chamber. The rotary and hoisting devices are actuated by gear motors placed inside the sealed housing, and are controlled using a programmable electronic device which controls pressure inside the sealed housing using vacuum gauge and a pressure sensor, controls the position of the rotary device using primary position sensors, and also transmits control signals to the pneumatic valves and the gear motors according to the programme.EFFECT: high measurement accuracy and reliability.4 dwg |
