The present invention relates to a power connection device. The power connection device comprises: a power source controlling unit having one side connected to a power source supply line; a socket unit connected to the other side of the power source controlling unit and connected to an electric product; an operation control unit connected to the power source controlling unit; and an electronic product connection sensing unit connected to the operation control unit and power source controlling unit. The operation control unit controls an operation state of the power source controlling unit by outputting a control signal to the power source controlling unit so as to connect the socket unit to the power source connection line or to the electronic product connection sensing unit. When the socket unit is connected to the electronic product connection sensing unit, a connection state of the socket unit and electronic product is sensed by using a sensing signal outputted from the electronic product connection sensing unit. When the connection state of the electronic product is different from a standard state, it is determined that the electronic product is unauthorized. Therefore, when a connection between the socket unit and the electronic product is released to use the electronic product connected to the socket unit in which a power source is blocked, without authorization, the electronic product is determined to be in an unauthorized usage state, which is an abnormal usage state, and a needed action is applied, thereby reducing worries about losing or data leakage. |
