The present invention relates to a cancer diagnosis and medicine screening method using peroxiredoxin II (Prx II). And specifically, Prx II is up-regulated in a FoxM1 dependent manner by tumorigenic RAS, and null mutation of the Prx II inhibits generation of HCC induced into the tumorigenic RAS via ERK/cyclin D1 path, thereby being capable of valuably using the Prx II in method for preventing the cancer and screening the medicine.
