Disclosed are a frame for a secondary battery capable of stably securing a flow path around a cooling plate and improving the cooling efficiency of a secondary battery, and a battery module including the same. A frame for a secondary battery according to the present invention includes: upper and lower cooling plates which have plate shapes, are separated by facing each other with a constant distance; a main frame which has four sides, surrounds the outer part of the upper and the lower cooling plates, and includes the outer part of a pouch-type secondary battery to enable at least two of the cooling plates to be stacked thereon; and a support member which is formed between the upper and the lower cooling plates and supports the cooling plates.
