The present invention relates to a method for producing a graphitic layer on a surface of hydroxyapatite and a hydroxyapatite-graphitic layer structure synthesized through the same. Specifically, the hydroxyapatite-graphitic layer structure having remarkably improved biocompatibility and mechanical properties can be provided by uniformly producing a graphitic layer on a surface of carbonate apatite having various shapes through a simple process of directly producing a crystalline graphitic layer on hydroxyapatite through a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique. The hydroxyapatite-graphitic layer structure according to the present invention can be utilized as a scaffolder having excellent mechanical properties and biocompatibility in the biomedical engineering field and can be utilized as a catalyst structure capable of imparting various functions to be applied as an energy material. |
