Provided is a lithium ion secondary battery which comprises an electrolyte including an anode active material containing a carbon-based active material, and a S=O compound having a different structure in accordance with a G/D ratio of the carbon-based active material. In addition, provided is a manufacturing method of the lithium ion secondary battery comprises the steps of: manufacturing a anode active material including a carbon-based active material; selecting a S=O compound in accordance with a G/D ratio of the carbon-based active material; and manufacturing an electrolyte including the selected S=O compound.
