Disclosed are a system and a method for automatically managing a fault event. A fault event analyzing unit generates summary information on each of fault event-related data by analyzing the fault event-related data stored in a fault event storing unit, and generates a handling method corresponding to each type of fault events by analyzing a correlation between pieces of summary information generated about each of the fault event-related data. In a fault event information knowledge storing unit, a fault event pattern related to a handling method corresponding to each type of fault events is stored. In a fault event-related handling method storing unit, a handling method verified for the generated fault events is stored. A fault event monitoring unit senses the occurrence of fault events by inspecting a state of servers and determines the possibilities of automatic handling when a fault event occurs. A fault event-related handling method recommending unit searches and extracts information about fault events from information accumulated in the fault event information knowledge storing unit about fault events determined to be difficult to be relieved by the handling method stored in the fault event-related handling method unit, and generates and outputs an automatic handling method candidate group about a fault event based on the extracted information. A fault event handling unit automatically handles sensed fault events by using the handling method accumulated in the fault event-related handling method storing unit. |
