According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is an authentication method using fingerprint information and an authentication number. The authentication method for enabling a user terminal to perform authentication using fingerprint information and an authentication number comprises the steps of: (a) transmitting a finance service request to a finance company server; (b) receiving a fingerprint authentication request from the finance company server, recognizing a fingerprint inputted by the received fingerprinting authentication request, and determining whether the recognized fingerprint is matched with the fingerprint registered in advance; (c) generating a first authentication number when the recognized fingerprint is matched with the registered fingerprint, and transmitting the first authentication number and fingerprint authentication completion information to the finance company server; and (d) receiving a result for the finance service request from the finance company server which determines whether the first authentication number is matched with a second authentication number which is autonomously generated by the user terminal based on the fingerprint authentication completion information. |
