摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system which can continue the operation of an internal combustion engine without increasing engine vibration even if the operation of a part of a plurality of control devices is stopped.SOLUTION: At a normal operation, a core 1 and a core 2 normally operate (Fig. 3 (a)). Therefore, a first cylinder, a fifth cylinder, a third cylinder, a sixth cylinder, a second cylinder and a fourth cylinder explode in this order, and combustion intervals of theses cylinders become constant. When the core 2 is failed, the calculation of a control target value by the core 2 is not performed, however, the calculation of a control target value by the normal core 1 is continued. That is, cylinder cut-off operations by the cylinders allocated with the core 1 (first, second and third cylinders) are performed (Fig. 3 (b)). In the cylinder cut-off operations, the combustion intervals of the cylinders become constant while being elongated more than those at the normal operation.</p>
