<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matters from penetrating a body part of a horn for a vehicle to prevent the foreign matters from penetrating the depth of the horn even when washing the vehicle using high high-pressure water or compressed air.SOLUTION: The horn for a vehicle includes: a diaphragm 30; sound channels 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D, and 20E which are provided in a body part 40 and are formed into spiral paths being propagation paths for an oscillatory wave generated by the diaphragm 30; a sound emission part which emits the oscillatory wave propagating in the sound channels to the outside of the body part 40; a covering reflection plate 80 which is arranged in a ground surface-side position separated from an opening end surface of the sound emission part opened to the ground surface, covers a plane area of the opening end surface of the sound emission part and reflects the oscillatory wave from the sound channels to the outside of the body part 40; and a foreign matter penetration preventing part formed of a transverse rib 92 and a longitudinal rib 91 provided on a body part front side part between the opening end surface of the sound emission part and the covering reflection plate 80. A front side end part of the transverse rib 92 is formed into a wall part 92A having a prescribed height dimension.</p> |
