A piston valve assembly of a shock absorber is disclosed. The piston valve assembly of a shock absorber controls a damping force through an open flow passage, which is kept open, on a high frequency mode and through a tension flow passage on a low frequency mode by lowering a guide assembly with the temperature rise of a first pressure chamber caused by a fluid flowing into the first pressure chamber through an intake hole and cutting off the open flow passage, thereby eliminating a flow bottleneck caused by the formation of flow passages. In addition to this, the piston valve assembly of a shock absorber prevents a constant pressure rise inside the first pressure chamber using a disc installed at the top of the intake hole, thereby effectively preventing a decrease in damping force. |
