PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes: an acceleration sensor part 11 for detecting acceleration; a GPS reception part 12 for receiving a GPS signal; and a control part 13 for determining the type of a static state or a traveling state on the basis of the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor part 11, and for changing the reception cycle of the GPS signal by the GPS reception part 12 on the basis of the determination result. The traveling state includes: a walking state, a running state, a bicycle traveling state and a vehicle traveling state. |
