PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent refractory lining structure of a vessel for steel making, which addresses damage increase due to lowering of bath level by increasing thickness of lining immediately beneath a slag line part without diminishing workability of castable, controls heat loss, and sustains in the production of clean steel.SOLUTION: In the lining structure of a vessel for steel making, a steel bath part 2 is composed of an amorphous casting material, and a slag line part 1 is composed of a magnesia-carbonaceous brick. As a connecting brick 3 which connects the upper part of the steel bath part and the lower part of the slag line part, an unfired alumina-magnesia brick which underwent heat treatment at a temperature of 1,200°C or less is used. |
