The purpose of the present invention is to provide a welding gun for which durability can be improved by effectively receiving a thrust direction load, and to which a heavy and large movable gun arm can be provided even if a main body part is small. Provided is a guide groove-type welding gun (10), wherein included is a thrust direction guide mechanism comprising the following: two guide pins (19a, 19b) that are provided to an arm holder (13) so as to be passed through first and second guide grooves (17a, 17b) and integrated therewith; brackets (23a, 23b) that are provided in a fixed state to both ends of the guide pins (19a, 19b) and that have a length which is sufficient to straddle the first and second guide grooves (17a, 17b) in a direction perpendicular to the axial line of the guide pins (19a, 19b); and planeveyors (24a, 24b) that are provided to both ends of the brackets (23a, 23b) and that abut a lateral plate (11a) of a gun main body (11) so as to be moveable along the first and second guide grooves (17a, 17b). |
