PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system capable of reducing energy consumption or load of individual heat source machines by balancing and sharing an indoor unit in a heating operation and an indoor unit in a cooling operation among a plurality of heat source machines. SOLUTION: This air-conditioning system includes: a concentrated heat source device; the individual heat source devices installed in spaces for carrying out air-conditioning operations therein; and a heat transfer system for transferring heat supplied from the concentrated heat source device 1 to the individual heat source devices 2, 2-1 and 2-2 by using a heat medium. The individual heat source devices 2, 2-1 and 2-2 are each provided with a refrigerant circulation system (a refrigerant circulation system K in a compression type cooling/heating machine) with a compressor 8 installed therein. The heat transfer system L is provided with: a fluid machine (pump 12) for adding pressure to a liquid-phase heat medium (liquid-phase compression type medium), and heat medium passage determination means (for instance, on-off valves V1-V9) for changing the passage of the heat medium.
