<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of satisfactorily securing gear change control accuracy in an automatic transmission and drivability while performing effective regenerative power generation by an alternator at deceleration.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device for transmitting the motive power of an engine (2) to drive wheels through an automatic transmission (3) and for charging a battery (5) with electric power generated by an alternator (4) includes: means (8) for detecting a running state; means (9) for executing gear change control of the automatic transmission; and control means for controlling the drive state of the alternator. The alternator control means (10) temporarily changes the limit value of a power generation torque of the alternator to be lower than in a normal time, when the vehicle executes gear change control to a deceleration state.</p> |
