1. A composition for a polarizing film, comprising:
a polyolefin, and a dichroic dye represented by Chemical Formula 1: wherein, in Chemical Formula 1, Ar1 to Ar3 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C15 arylene group, wherein at least two of Ar1 to Ar3 are a substituted C6 to C15 arylene group substituted with at least one of a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkoxy group, a halogen atom, or a halogen-containing group, R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkylthio group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkanoyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkoxycarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 alkynyl group, or a combination thereof, R2 is hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C20 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkylthio group, —NR3R4, or a combination thereof, wherein R3 and R4 are each independently hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkyl group, optionally linked to each other to form a ring, and n is 0 or 1. |
