<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clogging determination device that can accurately determinate clogging of a fuel filter not quickly but gradually advancing by discriminating clogging of a fuel filter due to a foreign matter not dissolved in fuel and clogging due to a waxing phenomenon, and provide an internal combustion engine and a clogging determination method.SOLUTION: A clogging determination device includes: waxing phenomenon estimation means M2 that estimates occurrence of a waxing phenomenon; distribution resistance increase detection means M3 that detects increase of distribution resistance when fuel passes through a fuel filter 8; and clogging determination means M4 that in a case where the waxing phenomenon estimation means 2 estimates that the waxing phenomenon does not occur, determines abnormality of the fuel filter 8 on the basis of the increase of distribution resistance detected by the distribution resistance increase detection means M3, and determines clogging of the fuel filter 8 when continuously determining that the fuel filter 8 is in an abnormal state.</p> |
