<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation and a method for production of ore slurry which enable production of ore slurry high in solid ingredient ratio and specific gravity while keeping a slurry treatment capacity.SOLUTION: An ore slurry production installation A includes a first thickener 1 which concentrates raw material ore slurry preliminarily to obtain an intermediate ore slurry and a second thickener 2 which concentrates the intermediate ore slurry to obtain a concentrated ore slurry and is higher in thickening effect than the first thickener. Since the intermediate ore slurry concentrated preliminarily in the first thickener is supplied to the second thickener, the sedimentation rate of the ore slurry in the second thickener is increased, leading to increase of the slurry treatment capacity. Since the latter stage is the second thickener higher in thickening effect, a concentrated ore slurry high in solid ingredient ratio and specific gravity can be produced.</p> |
