PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a former pump capable of actuating an air piston stably to exhibit an excellent discharge performance.SOLUTION: A former pump comprises: a pump 2 having a stem 10; and a push-down head 3 formed with a nozzle hole 32a, wherein the pump includes: a liquid cylinder 16 accommodating a liquid piston 15; an air cylinder 14 accommodating the air piston 13; a gas-liquid mixing chamber R1 for mixing a content liquid and the air; and an air passage 5 for introducing the air in the air cylinder into the gas-liquid mixing chamber, wherein the air piston has an insertion cylinder 51 for forming a portion of the air passage between itself and a stem, wherein the stem includes an abutment part 62 for abutting from below said insertion cylinder against the lower end of the insertion cylinder thereby to block the communication between the inside of the gas-liquid mixing chamber and the inside of the air cylinder via the air passage, wherein the air piston is supported upwardly movably relative to the stem and is biased downward by a biasing member 70. |
