<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation structure of a dot impact printer, a sound insulation method of a printer, and the dot impact printer equipped with the sound insulation structure.SOLUTION: The sound insulation structure of the printer includes a rotatable bracket 8, a follower 2 which moves in gearing with a print head 1 and constitutes a translation cam with the bracket 8, a first energizing member 11 for energizing the bracket 8 in the almost perpendicular direction to movement of the print head 1, and a shutter 10 rotating in gearing with rotation of the bracket 8. The rotation range of the bracket 8 is determined by energization to the follower 2 and the bracket 8, and the rotation range is different according to a movement position of the print head 1.</p> |
