<p>The invention is directed to a coaxial connector assembly (1) comprising a first and a second connector (2, 3) which are suitable to interconnect to a each other. At least one of the connector parts (2, 3) is suitable to interconnect to a coaxial cable (4) comprising an inner conductor (5), an outer conductor (6) and a dielectric (7). The first connector (2) comprises a first housing (8) and a contact element (11) which is at least partially arranged inside the first housing (8). The second connector (3) comprises a second housing (16) with a contact surface (17) which in a mounted position forms an electrical contact with the contact element (11) of the first connector (2). The first housing (8) comprises a female coupling half (18) arranged radially outside to the contact element (11) which in the mounted position extends over a male coupling half (19) of the second housing (16). Radially outside of the female coupling half (18) at least one interconnection means (22) forms a mechanical interconnection between the first and the second housing (8, 16).</p> |
