<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel manufacturing method for a copolymer using a metallocene complex. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the block polymer includes a step for copolymerizing a monomer of a heterocyclic aliphatic compound containing an ester bond or an ether bond on a ring and indicating polarity with a polymer containing a polymer block comprising a styrene unit using a catalyst composition containing (1) the metallocene complex containing a central metal M, i.e., a Group 3 metal atom or lanthanoid metal atom, a ligand Cp<SP>*</SP>containing a substituted or unsubstituted cyclopentadienyl derivative bonded to the central metal, monoanion ligands Q<SP>1</SP>and Q<SP>2</SP>and neutral Lewis bases L of W pieces and represented by formula (I) (wherein, W represents an integer of 0-3), and (2) an ionic compound comprising a non-coordinating anion and cation as a catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
